No! Preview & Prepare Day is totally free.
Parking is easy and free at the GRCC Lakeshore Campus! Please enter the building through the main entrance facing James Street, right in front of the flagpoles.
Preview & Prepare Day is an open-house style event. You can attend any time between 10 a.m. and noon.
FAFSA completion workshops are by signup only once you arrive, so arriving near the beginning of the event may allow more opportunities to participate. The Academic Programs and Admissions presentation is at 10:30 a.m. and the Financial Aid presentation is at 10:30 a.m.
Generally speaking, no. However, here is a list of good things to know, if you intend to complete new student checklist items at the event:
- GRCC Application.
Please know your social security number, permanent address, and phone number - SAT report.
Please know your login to College Board or have your complete report already downloaded. If you encounter difficulties in accessing this information, our staff can gladly assist. - FAFSA completion.
It is very helpful--but not mandatory--if you create your Federal Student Aid account before you arrive.
No. New incoming students are required to attend Orientation: that's where you sign up for classes. Staff at Preview & Prepare Day can help you register for an Orientation session that will take place at a later date.
