Questions & Answers
- Is parking available for guests?
Yes! You can park in the GRCC Ramp A or Ramp B and take a ticket. Bring your ticket to the event and we'll provide you with a parking pass.
- Do I need to bring anything with me?
If you'd like help completing the FAFSA, please bring your 2024 federal tax return (form 1040) and your social security card. A Financial Aid staff member will assist you one-on-one with your application and laptops will be provided.
- What is Michigan Reconnect?
If you’re age 25 or older, the Michigan Reconnect program could cover the cost of tuition for you to get a degree or career training at Grand Rapids Community College. Michigan Reconnect gives eligible Michiganders financial aid to start or restart your education.
There are a few basic requirements you must meet to be eligible for the Michigan Reconnect program. To qualify, you must:
- Be 25 or older.
- Be a Michigan resident for at least one year.
- Have graduated from high school with a diploma or equivalency.
- What if I'm not old enough to qualify for Michigan Reconnect?
No worries! GRCC has other tuition assistance programs you may qualify for. We'll explore your options together.
- What if I haven't started on anything and just want to go to college?
That's perfectly fine! We'll have Admissions and Financial Aid specialists ready to answer questions and help you get started.
